About Zayden
Zayden Regula has always had a deep connection with horses, a passion that began at a young age and has shaped his career. At just 23, Zayden has built a strong foundation in horse training, rider instruction, and therapeutic riding programs for children with autism and physical disabilities. He works with riders of all abilities, whether they’re new to riding, looking to sharpen their skills, or aiming to deepen their horsemanship and understanding of what it takes to be a knowledgeable horse owner.
Zayden’s journey with horses began when his grandmother gifted him his first helmet and boots on his 8th Christmas. This allowed him to take his first riding lesson, where he met a horse named Butterscotch. Upon seeing him, Zayden’s intense love and admiration for horses was instantly confirmed, and he knew from that moment that working with these incredible animals was his calling.
From early on, Zayden understood the importance of having a deep, well-rounded knowledge of horse care and horsemanship. Whether it’s knowing the proper angle of a horse’s hoof, understanding sole depth, identifying and treating common ailments, or knowing how to halter-break foals, he has always prioritized learning and staying informed. He continuously seeks out the latest research and best practices to ensure that both his horses and himself stay in top condition.
This dedication to knowledge and growth translates into his work with horses and riders. His teaching is built on the belief that a well-rounded horse and rider need to understand each other, and his training emphasizes desensitizing horses to real-world scenarios while encouraging them to be active participants in their learning. Zayden’s passion for sharing his knowledge and seeing that same admiration for horses reflected in his students is what drives him. He feels incredibly fortunate to spend his days doing what he loves—working with horses and helping others develop their own passion for these incredible animals.
